Pursuing Self: Body, Mind, Spirit

PURSUING SELF presents a set of poems that speak to the lived experience of a hyphenated identity. It captures intimate thoughts, expresses counter-cultural vulnerability, and highlights honest emotions in poetic expression. The poems included in this book are an honest depiction of life in the body of a Nicaraguan-American man.

Book cover titled 'Evidence-Based Organizational Practices for Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity,' edited by Ludmila N. Praslova, with a background of line art illustrations of diverse human faces.

I contributed a chapter entitled "Identity, Intersectionality, and Leadership: Leading While Brown" where I discuss the intersection of our identities and leadership from a Latino perspective (although the chapter is written to be accessible to anyone).

Understanding Latin American Theology (Working Title)

Dr. Hernández received a book contract with InterVarsity Press. This book will utilize both a critical and a Latin American epistemological lens to present the various factors that impact the development of theologies in a Latin American context, using Nicaragua as a case study.
